Our Vision is to transform the lives of people in our community by providing life changing empowerment, educational resources, and opportunites designed to help people in our community WIN, LIVE BETTER and fulfill their PURPOSE in Life.

COLLEGE TOUR | FAMU
On November 9, 2024 The Safe Place PSjJ, Inc. took twelce youth 8th-12th grade from Port Joe and
Wewehitchka to Florida A&M University in Tallahassee to take part in their Fall Preview. Students were able to
take part in a career fair, college tour, and musical performance by the FAMU Marching 100 Band.
Program Coordinator Kenneth Monette , M. ED. said, “ This was a great opportuniity for students to take part in the HBCU experience and broaden their thinking about attending college.
“We want to give students in Port St. Joe. and Wewahichka an eye-opening experience that could spark the idea that college is a real possibility”. Life is more than your local surroundings. The more worldly opportunities we open our youth up to , it will provide them a broader way of thinking.
